Who Are We
Eastside Dance Project is a Nonprofit 501(C)3 Organization located in North Plainfield, NJ, welcoming all those, ages 3-18, who are genuinely interested in the art of Dance.
Although Eastside opened its doors in October of 2020, during one of the most challenging times in history, our growth has consistently increased. We wholeheartedly want children and teens to have a passion for dance and to master the art to the best of their ability and potential. The lack of financial resources should never be a reason to deter anyone from developing their knowledge and skills in this art. As such, we are proud to grant scholarships not only on merit basis, but also to underprivileged families in our community.
Eastside Dancers receive training in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Acro, and Hip Hop. We achieve our goals by providing a loving and nurturing, yet disciplined environment for our dancers, and instilling in them the necessary skills and life lessons that they can carry beyond their years at Eastside. Our dedicated faculty understands that they too are an instrumental part to the success of our students. At Eastside, we allow our students to discover their artistry through enrichment and encouragement.

Our Mission
We empower our Youth through Dance by providing powerful engagement, inspiration and environment for self-expression, that keeps teenagers off the street, boosts their self-esteem and offers positive experiences.

Eastside Dance represents a beautiful, loving family for some of the children, who represent the underprivileged communities. We treat every child with the upmost respect and compassion, welcoming dancers of all levels, and creating inspiring partnerships.

Our faculty, along with our rigorous curriculum and challenging, innovative dance techniques, motivate our students to push past their boundaries to discover their true self as dancers.
We strive to influence our dancers to be leaders not only on the dance floor, but in every aspect of their lives.
Our Vision
Our commitment is to empower children by providing an environment where they feel enabled, respected and loved. We serve a community with much undiscovered talent that lacks resources, inclusiveness and knowledge. We are a stellar dance school that serves Youth from all walks of life, and especially those from the underprivileged communities. Our goal is to provide the same opportunities for these children and help them excel by providing the training and resources they can not otherwise afford. Because of our support, encouragement and well-trained dance faculty, our alumni dancers are requested to perform with other elite dance companies on a national level, such as Julliard, The Alvin Ailey etc.
